What We Believe
We bear witness to the living God.
The God who created all things, who rules over history, who loves mankind, who upholds justice and will judge the world in righteousness and holiness—you can know this living God.
We bear witness to the truth of Scripture.
Scripture was written by God's inspiration and contains the truth of God's existence, man's destiny, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Scripture records human history from beginning to end. Scripture is not merely a religious book for Christ
-
The Holy BibleThe Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the complete word of God, inerrant and infallible in their original autographs. The 66 books of the Bible were written through God’s revelation and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Complete knowledge of God is given only through the Bible. Salvation can be obtained only through the Bible.
-
GodGod is spirit, self-existent, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and the one true God. God is supremely holy, righteous, perfect love, and merciful. God is one in essence but exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, Sustainer, Provider, and Judge.
-
Jesus ChristJesus Christ is one Person of the Trinity and is fully God. Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, came in human flesh and is the only Mediator between God and mankind. Jesus Christ bore the sins of all people and accomplished eternal redemption through His substitutionary death on the cross. Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion, ascended to heaven after forty days, and lives as our Mediator.
-
The Holy SpiritThe Holy Spirit is one Person of the Trinity and is fully God. The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin and gives new birth through the Word of God. The Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of believers and causes spiritual growth. The Holy Spirit unites believers together, forming the body of Christ, which is the church.
-
ManMan was created as a spiritual being in the image of God for the glory of God. Though God gave man free will, Adam sinned by disobeying God's Word. All people face death, and after death comes the judgment of God.
-
SalvationSalvation is by God's grace alone, not based on human works, and can be obtained only by faith. Repentance, which leads to the forgiveness of sins, must precede salvation. Justification comes by faith alone. Man receives salvation by believing in Jesus Christ and through the forgiveness of sins. Salvation is certain, eternal, and complete. After salvation, believers must live a life of sanctification, being conformed to the likeness of Christ. When Christ returns, Christians will be glorified.
-
The ChurchThe Church is a spiritual, personal community of born-again Christians united by the Holy Spirit. The Church is the body of Christ, and Christians are members of that body as individual parts. God supplies His Word through the church and causes believers' faith to grow. The church observes the ordinances as commanded by Jesus. The church must be devoted to the Word, prayer, fellowship, and evangelism.
-
The End TimesWhen God's appointed time is fulfilled, this world will come to an end. Jesus Christ will return in the air before the seven-year tribulation (pre-tribulation rapture). During the first half of the seven-year tribulation (3½ years), 144,000 from the nation of Israel will be saved. Jesus Christ will return to earth after the seven-year tribulation (Second Coming).
-
The Millennial Kingdom and the Eternal KingdomChrist, having returned to earth, will rule the world for one thousand years (Millennium). Born-again Christians will enjoy eternal life and blessedness with Christ in heaven.
